The gardens are modest but have a fantastic set of views. Four Winds is located close to the dramatic North Devon/Cornish coast and the kids and staff spend a lot of time on the local beaches.
The staff team is experienced and highly motivated. Organic food is introduced to the diet wherever possible and ‘junk food’ and fizzy drinks are discouraged.
|
Education can take place either within the home or within main stream provision; often it occurs in partnership with part-time attendance at main stream and part-time home tuition. the school bus stops outside the house.
“The core of our education policy is to meet the needs of the individual young person”
Four Winds is located 10 miles from Bideford and is on a main bus route. Young people who live away from the area use the train station at Tiverton Parkway and weekend home visits are possible to almost anywhere in the country.
